Starting Seeds
Welcome to the very first post on the new Peaceful Valley blog “In The Loop”. Ahem.
I feel almost nervous.
Like this is a big moment.
Well we hope it is.What does big mean? I hope that big in the case of this blog means that you check in on it regularly to see how it is growing, and maybe even feed it once and a while with your thoughts and observations. I hope that you turn to it when you need inspiration and ideas for your garden, and I hope that it is healthy and ripe by the time we are all sick of fresh apple pies, around the end of Summertime.
We’re going to be having Eric Boudier, the President of Peaceful Valley, checking in and adding his thoughts here and there. We’re going to have our resident growing experts digress. We’re going to have Pattie Boudier, Vice President give us some tips and tricks, and we’re going to let you know how the seasons are going over here on our end.
The whole idea is that we get to relate with you as PEOPLE, who LOVE growing.
I know that many of us share different tastes here, I for one… as amateur as it sounds, I grow my tomatoes in big buckets outside my small apartment. Some of us have some pretty intricate irrigation systems… but one thing we all have in common is a desire to learn more and share what we’ve learned.
So I hope that you share too. In a few days, or less, once I’m pretty sure it won’t fall apart at a moment’s notice, I’ll go ahead and let you all sign up to write here, and to leave your comments. So there you go. There is the first post at In The Loop. That was momentous!

It is momentous… I glad we started it! You do have to tell me how you get so many tomatoes out of those buckets…. I mean they are in the shade most of the day! That just goes to show you, great garden tips can come from anywhere. Here’s to finding many more on this blog!

Thanks guys. Its going to be great, and I think that every day this Spring you should check in.
OK, now I know you were being facetious about asking how I got so many tomatoes out of those buckets, but I have to tell you, I feel confident that it is two things: Really yummy soil to begin with, and expired egg shells.

This is exciting! SO will this be a place to ask questions etc? I am just starting out with organic gardening. Have a small greenhouse and don’t know how to use it. Live at 7200 feet up in the mountains of New Mexico. A real challenge growing as our season is short here. I am eager to sell at local farmers markets. Herbs grow well here. Any advice would be appreciated!

It’s such a pleasure to come across great blogs…let alone ones that are a) new and b) by a company you absolutely adore and wouldn’t consider going anywhere else for your organic farming (gardening) products.
I’m really looking forward to your “cultivation” of this blog!
Welcome to the Garden blogosphere!
