Q: Row cover support for narrow rows
I’d like to use pvc pipe to support my garden frost cloth, but the raised beds are only 26″ wide. Has anyone had success bending ½’ pipe across such a short distance? Or, can you recommend another support material?

You should take a look at our wire hoops that are used for this specific situation. The link is here. These are 76″ long, they come as a straight piece. To install: one end is driven into the ground and then the piece is bent over, where then the other end is then stuck down in the earth on the opposite side of the row.
26″ Sounds like a very short distance to bend PVC pipe. We also have the loop hoops, these are the same basic idea, except they are already bent and have “guiding” eyelets along the top which allow for a guide cord or twine to support the cloth over long distances. These are only 16″ wide, they might be too short.
Hope that helps!!
