		<description>I guess I mean both.  We are new to the desert, recently moving from PA.  I would love to know what grows well here, both through the winter and during the summer months.  
I have tomatoes and peppers growing now.  How often should they be watered?   What kind of suppliments does the sandy soil need?  What time of year can I grow lettuce and spinach?</description>
